Explore principles of puppet design while learning how to create puppets with felting needles and unspun wool. Making either a rod puppet or a head for a hand puppet, you will learn different techniques for using wool. Wool is wonderful! No waiting for glue or paint to dry! Teaching Artist Bio

Since 1983, Pam Corcoran has brought stories to life with her original hand-made puppets - traditional stories with a whimsical twist, as well as two series:  The Adventures of August, and The Queen of Hearts. Pam is a frequent guest artist for Eulespiegel Puppet Theater.

Pam has presented her needle felting workshop at PuppetFest MidWest, Owl Glass Puppetry Center, National Puppeteers of America festivals, and more. She began needle felting with un-spun wool around 2000, and now, 25 years later, is still discovering ways to use this marvelous, renewable resource.
